The outlines of jointing elements including all the data for identification are plottet to paper and pastet on the joint-material. Such the joints can be sawed to scale on a bandsaw manually with very low efforts. Alternatively the joints can be shaped on NC-machines. After the outline is done the fittings for the rods are machined on the dedicated Bambutec joint milling machine according to the data provided by CAD.


The poles separately get round shaped teeth on both the ends, which fit precisely into the complementary machined jointing elements. This way a big correlated surface for bonding is provided which causes such the extreme high strength of Bambutec joints. The fact of machining the poles always on both ends simultanously at one chucking is essential to achieve precise coaxial alignment of the fittings. For this reason even natural  buckling logs can be used for technical structures leading to precise geometrical results.


The capacity of the basic Bambutec pole milling machine is stated with 10 to 30 s/pcs depending on the hardness and diameter of poles. The possible length varies between 2,5m and 5m according to diameters in a range of 3 to 20cm. Other Dimensions can be provided on demand.
